Sure enough, two weeks later while driving down the tollway most of the electrical system went out, radio, turn signals, power locks & windows, etc.

So It's Only Been About 4 Hours.

@vinniels3, side detection system is the smarts behind blind spot monitoring feature (visual warning in exterior rear vision mirrors), rear cross traffic allert feature (presumably buzzer to warn you), reverse alert feature (again buzer) and presumably auto park feature.supposedly it used some radar modules located at each side of the rear bumber along. I took the vehicle into my dealership and waited four hours only to be told that this was a nationwide problem and the part was unavailable and on back order. Dealership repaired for $700 replacing the module and 3 days later, the light returned as did the warning.
